A CMC Christmas
Engaged in a little Xmas trading, but was not aware that gegenspieler CMC Markets chose to do Christmas:
No heads up, and no service, no trading tillDecember 26 ... noon!
No FX till December 28!? Feels like April 1 -- merry lesson!

Jolly ride. Gold celebrated Christmas below 807 USD.
No word from CMC Markets yet ... but it's likely that the German trading times (their PDF file comes with Thursday's trading times) also apply to Austrian dumb money.

Can't believe it's not impossible to trade FX via CMC Markets today.
Sold my position (2 is a crowd) at 816.00. 15 liquidation warnings made me realize a lucky 70%.

The CFDM is currently raising dumb risk capital -- never recovered from the ueber-dumb Uranium One wipe-out. Expect few monster trades till this fresh money is available.

You lose some and you miss some
After a half-assed Spot Gold trade (small loss), the CFDM left the building to join a soccer party -- old-school tittytainment. Saw my team (Werder Bremen) lose vs. a big fag Greek team called Olympiacos.
The punishment? Yet another missed opportunity:
A true Champions League SHORT trade!
Congrats to all dedicated Bears who at least doubled up selling this douche bag called SPX500.
Gotta go now and look up the word Discipline.

Missing out on 200% Gold/USD
You miss the boat: This is what happens if you live in a country with great health care but don't have wireless access to your trading account ...
On the positive side: Better a missed opportunity than a realized loss -- but after something like this, wireless internet looks like must-have.
BTW, just wondering if there are any other Mac users running CMC Markets-Pro with Parallels. My problem: "LINKED ORDER" does not work ... and CMC Markets customer service doesn't really seem to give shiznit.

2 steps backwards, 1 whole Gold vs. Dollar point
Yesterday's spectator (missed a solid one-bagger) turned speculator today. Forex for the first time ... Spot Gold vs. US Dollar trades.
Almost betrayed (= shorted) gold. 2 ok losses and a small score:
